Please read this notice before booking to avoid missing documents on the visit day.

Main documents to prepare

To help officers verify your relationship with the inmate, please prepare these documents for the visit day:

  1. A copy of the inmate’s house registration
  2. A copy of the inmate father’s house registration
  3. A copy of the inmate mother’s house registration
  4. A copy of the visitor’s house registration
These documents help verify relationships such as father, mother, siblings, grandchild, niece, nephew, uncle, aunt, grandfather, and grandmother.

Additional documents by relationship

  1. Spouse: please prepare a copy of the marriage certificate.
  2. Father-in-law or mother-in-law: please prepare the spouse’s house registration and documents showing that the father-in-law or mother-in-law is the spouse’s parent.
  3. Child: please prepare a birth certificate or house registration showing parent-child relationship.
  4. Grandchild, niece, or nephew: please prepare house registration copies, birth certificates, or other official documents showing the chain of relationship between the visitor and the inmate, including documents of the relevant parent where necessary.
  5. Adopted child, adoptive father, or adoptive mother: please prepare adoption registration documents or official legal relationship documents.
  6. Name or surname change: please prepare name/surname change documents if applicable.

Important note

If the documents are incomplete or the relationship cannot be verified, officers may not be able to allow the visit.
